Datum supplies through hole, SMT and COB printed circuit boards. These can be manufactured from your specifications or custom designed to meet your product requirements. Our capabilities include automated assembly of analog and digital circuit boards. The board designers work with the manufacturing engineers to assure critical production factors are considered, including component cost, reliability, and functionality. The finished PCB is quality tested for functions and reliability.
Custom designs include the optimization of compactness, safety and ESD/EMC considerations. Whenever possible, our engineers, profiting from production experience in chip-on-board technology, will design in chips rather than packaged components. This technology maintains high quality, reduction of costs and lead times while saving space in the finished product. Full documentation is provided for custom designed boards using design files that are compatible with standard industry CAD formats.

Metal Die Castings
Datum is your one stop for zinc & aluminum die cast components. Die casting is a fast, cost effective manufacturing process for production of mid to high volume, intricately shaped, tight tolerance components. Die casting offers a broader range of shapes and components than any other manufacturing technique. Parts have long service life and can be designed to complement the esthetics of the surrounding parts or assemblies.
If required, post operations available include flattening, grinding, powder coating and electroplating (brass, nickel, chrome, satin nickel, bronze and copper).

The high strength and hardness of zinc alloy makes it the optimal substitute for machined castings, die punched and assembly operations.
